Welcome, first I would like you to see who we are. The best way to do this is to show you. Below is a photo of our family. ![]() From left to right - Barry, Nancy, Joe, Spiller and Justin below. Yes, I'm the fat boy in the back on the right! How I became a collector. For almost 20 years I played trumpet in bands up and down the East Coast. Being a retired horn player is just not that much fun with out other folks to make noise with. So Nancy and I started taking piano lessons. After a few lessons I knew something was missing. It was that great sound of a Hammond. That must have been the point when I lost my ever loving mind. I thought I'd buy one, plug it in and that would be it. No way, not me. The more Hammond's I found, the more I realized each one had a sound of its own and the more I wanted. I just had to find that perfect sound. That was about 25 or so Hammond's and some 30 Leslie's ago. My first trip was to Michigan and then PA. It was a great trip. The only problem was, I came home with an 18 foot trailer completely loaded and no where to put anything. That meant I had to go out the next morning and purchase a 20 x 16 pre-built workshop that could be delivered that day. Nancy figured I had gone nuts, lost my mind but even so never really said much. Today my hobby has meant adding a 56 x 18 extension on the back of our home. Nancy has a new screened in porch (just to keep all things equal) and I have more toys than a human being should be allowed to have. Still I wouldn't trade the last few years for anything. I have met some great folks, talked about organs, and families, organs, and of course organs..... But let's say you feel like you must part with your organ or leslie for whatever reason. Just pick up the phone, give me a call and let's talk. At least give me the opportunity to make you an offer. I will give you an honest opinion of what it is worth to me even if we don't make a deal. I may also be able to help you sell your "stuff" quicker and for a better price if it's perfect or in need of minor repair. Over the years I have met many collectors and organ nuts all over the United States so your location my not be that important. Plus keep in mind, I pay you cash and I'll even pay for the call. You have nothing to lose by calling me. So please enjoy our little site. If you are wondering why HTMP.COM. It's Hammond Townwheel Market Place all balled up into 4 letters. I hope you enjoy your visit. Please look at some of my past and current projects. Look what just found Danny's living room after being in a million parts for like 26 years. Yes my friend Danny played organ for years but one day he decided to take his 1957 C3 apart and rebuilt it. I know that feeling first hand. Well one thing led to another and before he knew it, it had been stored away in boxes for decades. Until we were talking one day and he said you know I have an A105 I'd give you if you would rebuild my C3. Not knowing what had happened 26 years ago I said "you got a deal". That weekend I went by Danny's house to pickup the organ. That's when I saw the boxes and trash bags of parts. Wow, what a job. Well how much work could it be. The cabinet was trashed after years on the road. The guts were in a million plus parts. Danny had done a great job taking every piece apart. But a deal is a deal and I'm a man of my word and so I was ready to get started. Just separating parts took almost a week. The rebuilding another six months. Finally the job is done and Danny and Ruth have his baby back home again. Done in a satin black finish, with a touch of wood it truly is incredible. Hope it brings you years of enjoyment!
